Warranty inspection

A basic warranty inspection is an essential part of the purchase itself. When building a bike, we make sure everything is 100% functional, but certain components need to "fit" so to speak. Then a thorough inspection is needed.

This should take place at an interval of 150 kilometres or within 45 days of purchase. This is a crucial deadline, as if it is exceeded, the components may be irreparably damaged or even cause injury due to misalignment. During the inspection, the technician will examine the complete gears, wheels, forks and, last but not least, the very important brakes.

The course of the warranty inspection

  • We recommend that you make an appointment for a warranty inspection - then we can do it within 60 minutes. You can then have a cup of coffee in our VELO restaurant and wait for the bike to be serviced.
  • After you arrive with your bike, we'll take you in and discuss any possible shortcomings. Then our service technicians will check and remove them, along with any other possible ailments.
  • If you arrive without an appointment within our opening hours, the speed of the warranty inspection will depend on the current service workload. We can normally do it in 90 minutes, but the bike may not be ready until the next day.
  • By completing a warranty inspection, you will be assured that everything on your bike is in perfect order. We guarantee that it will reward you with reliability and functionality on your rides.
  • The warranty inspection of bicycles purchased from us is completely free of charge and you should definitely not miss it. For some bike brands, the warranty inspection is also a condition for any extended warranties.
  • We will also do a warranty inspection for bikes purchased outside our premises. This service is subject to a fee of 850 CZK.
