Product description
The UNIT 1 FARO helmet redefines urban mobility. Award-winning design. Clean, minimalist helmet with integrated lights, turn signals, brake lights and Crash Alert. It comes standard with Mips.
On the FARO helmet, powerful lights have been placed at the highest point. Their massive light footprint makes you more visible to others on the road.
FARO has an impact detection function. In the event of an accident, AURA can detect a hard impact and if you do not respond to a safety check, it will send an SOS message with your location. When the on-board accelerometer detects a hard impact (soft impacts do not trigger it), the app starts a safety check timer. If the rider does not respond, an SOS is sent to the emergency contact you have selected in the app. The safety check timer and even the SOS message can be customised.

MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System
- MIPS is a slippery liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
- Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, the result is that MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
