The Trek Top Fuel Gen 4 is a lightweight trail bike with a carbon frame, Sram's wireless electronics kit and carbon wheels that handles climbs with aplomb, and you'll have a blast on technical descents.

Compared to the previous generation, the Top Fuel's frame is lighter (220 g) and thanks to the 4 positions of the minolink pivot, it is more adaptable to more different terrains and riders.

A base stroke of 120 mm rear and 130 mm front puts the Top Fuel between the Supercaliber and Fuel EX models. It's smoother and less efficient to ride than a pure XC bike, while being lighter, more efficient and more agile than higher travel trail bikes.

The internal storage space in the lower frame tube has been redesigned as well as the BITS bag to safely store your essentials and easily insert and remove them into the frame. The BITS bag has two chambers for carbon variants and one for aluminium variants.

The new frame geometry also allows the telescopic seatpost to retract deeper, making it more variable for a wider range of rider types.

The four-position Mino Link allows for two geometry settings, one with a higher center and more perpendicular head tube angle and one with a lower center and more downward head tube angle. For both of these settings it is also possible to adjust the progression of the suspension leverage ratio to higher and lower. So you have four different settings in total, and it's up to you to decide which one suits your preferred terrain and riding style best.

The overdrive ratio is set by default with the Mino Link in the front position, a less progressive (more flexible, more compliant) setting.

If you place the Mino Link in a horizontal position, you get a more progressive leverage ratio (stiffer mid-stroke, less risk of the shock running to the stop). This setting is more suitable for rougher terrain with bigger drops and jumps.

The new Top Fuel model has a 130mm travel fork, and for a better fit, simply changing the fork air chamber can increase the travel to 140mm, opening up the possibilities for a smoother, more technical ride. If you'd like to go the other way and tune the bike more for XC disciplines, the frame is ready to be fitted with a 120mm travel fork, which, combined with XC tires, will improve efficiency on faster trails.

Rear frame travel is 120 mm as standard, but the frame design allows for a shock absorber with up to 130 mm of travel, opening up a whole new range of possibilities. Further customisation can be achieved by changing wheel diameters, as the frame is ready for the installation of the more playful 27.5-inch wheels.

As standard, the frame in sizes M-XL comes with fast 29-inch wheels.

The S size is fitted with 27.5-inch wheels and the top frame tube is also slightly curved in this size to make the bike fit smaller riders better.

Shifting is handled by the SRAM X0 Eagle AXS T-Type wireless electronic shifting kit, which shifts easily and reliably even under load.

You will have your speed under control thanks to the four-piston hydraulic brakes Sram Level Silver.

A telescopic seatpost on the trail bike makes it easier to work with the centre of gravity above the bike and thus pass through technical passages.

ALL models are supplied in a tubeless setup.
