The POC Calyx multi-sport helmet will protect your head while skiing, ski mountaineering, mountaineering or cycling. All while meeting strict safety standards in three different categories.

With deep ventilation ducts for optimal airflow and adjustable vents at the top of the helmet, it's easy to control airflow for optimal thermal comfort in a wide range of weather conditions for a variety of activities. The textile covering on the front and rear ventilation channels allow fresh air to enter the helmet without causing uncomfortable wind chill.

The helmet includes soft earmuffs that can either be folded into the helmet or easily removed completely for activities on warmer days, or when cycling or ski touring.

The inner structure is made up of dual-density EPS, which allows for extra protection in key areas. The outer shell is made of ABS for extra durability. The ideal size adjustment system with 360° fit wheel, can also be fully retracted inside the helmet to reduce the space the helmet takes up during storage and carrying.

There is also MIPS head protection against rotational forces, which is even better integrated into the helmet design in the Evolve variant.

MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System
MIPS is a sliding layer between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, the result is that MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.

The helmet design also includes a Recco reflector, which makes it easier to find the helmet and its wearer in open mountain terrain.

Included in the package are: detachable earmuffs, detachable glasses clip, and a neck warmer to protect against the cold.
