The Northwave Veloce Extreme road cycling shoes were created with a single goal - to achieve exceptionally efficient power transfer and extreme speed, which you need when racing on a road bike.

The Veloce model was developed together with hour record holder and Olympic champion Filippo Ganna – a man who knows a thing or two about speed.

The foundation of the shoes is the PowerShape HT sole with a maximum stiffness index of 15, which is made of 100% carbon, the fibres of which are laid in one direction, this sole was designed for maximum power transfer. Its secret lies in the exclusive raised heel section with an asymmetrical design - it adapts better to the outside of the heel while providing optimum support to the inside. The patented Powershape system in the arch area acts as additional support and increases comfort with every step. Replaceable rubber pads extend the life, while enlarged ventilation holes ensure maximum airflow in and out.

The upper of the shoe uses an underlap construction, which in cooperation with a pair of SLW3 wheels ensures even wrapping of the foot and precise, stable tightening, with the possibility of fine-tuning even while riding in individual steps.

Laser perforations are strategically placed to optimise ventilation and thermoregulation of the foot.

The new, lightweight Anatomic Reticular Support 2.0 (ARS 2.0) technology provides additional support and ensures correct foot positioning with every ride.

The heel support with anti-slip fibres prevents the foot from slipping out of the shoe and keeps the foot firmly in place.

The double SLW3 dial, developed in collaboration with X-Dial, allows dual-zone micrometric adjustment - for absolutely precise and individual tightening.

Included are two types of dual density insoles – 5 mm for narrow feet (slim fit) and 3 mm for standard (regular fit) – thanks to them you can adjust the shoe even better.

The raised heel section provides flexibility on the outside and stable support for the inside of the heel - for maximum efficiency and control.
