The MAAP X KASK Protone Icon racing road helmet combines aesthetics, aerodynamic performance, and excellent ventilation. This road helmet is the new synonym for victory.
Compared to the classic Kask model, this model is adorned with graphics in an exclusive color scheme and MAAP's characteristic design approach.
The aerodynamically optimised and ergonomically designed construction with vertical and horizontal adjustment ensures that the helmet will always fit perfectly and be ready to protect you without getting in the way or slowing you down.
Faux leather chinstrap – The hypoallergenic and easily washable strap is extremely comfortable and helps prevent skin irritation.
The helmet is constructed in accordance with the CE EN 1078 safety standard.
Like all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon model was developed in accordance with the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 testing protocol, which is an objective and scientific approach to measuring brain protection during rotational impacts.
KASK created the Rotational Impact WG11 test to ensure greater helmet safety. An invisible layer of protection that significantly exceeds international standards. This safety protocol, tested by an independent laboratory, presents a challenge for the entire industry and surpasses the most stringent standards.
Thanks to its scientific background and intensive testing, KASK creates head protection that can easily withstand even the most stringent testing procedures.
Integrated reinforcement in the helmet construction – The innovative internal reinforcing frame provides greater mechanical resistance and better strength. In the event of an impact, it prevents the helmet from breaking into multiple parts, thereby ensuring greater safety for every rider.
The redesigned internal structure provides greater safety for the user. The lower and upper parts of the shell are joined in such a way that they look like a single unit, which gives them a refined, elegant, clean look and better aerodynamics.
The adjustment system using the OCTOFIT+ dial optimises the helmet's comfort and stability, while the vertical stabiliser across the back of the neck provides ergonomic neck support and ensures better balance and fit. A large rubberised wheel makes it easy to control the settings and a reflective insert in the rear improves visibility in low light conditions.
The inner lining is made of CoolMax® fabric, which, in addition to being comfortable and quick-drying, is also removable and washable.
