Product description
Giro set a new standard in quality and appearance for recreational helmets with the original Register model. The new Register II takes this standard even further. We bring you the design, style, and ventilation of Giro's best road helmets, incorporated into this affordable, lightweight helmet with In-mold construction.
Women's Register II helmet is designed for all hobby mountain bike riders or cycling enthusiasts. With a removable visor and an adjustable clamping system that tightens with a tightening wheel, you can always tune your helmet to be completely comfortable. The helmet features MIPS Evolve Core technology to eliminate rotational forces on impact and also a LED light option. MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides increased protection against rotational forces on the head. More atMIPSprilby.cz">www.MIPSprilby.cz.
Technology
ROC LOC® AIR A revolutionary clamping system that improves both fit and ventilation of the helmet. The clamping system creates a small space between the head and the helmet itself where cool air flows. The setting options are the same as for the Roc Loc® 5 system.
IN-MOLD® Designation of a technological process in which EPS polystyrene foam is pressure-injected into the shell and reinforcements enclosed in the mould. Their connection reinforces the area of the vents and ribs. The result is a compact, uniform, lightweight, safe and very durable helmet.
MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) is a slippery insert between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact (for example, if you catch your head on a branch), the helmet's EPS shell will roll a few millimeters over the MIPS layer, protecting your head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
