The Montaro Mips III is a trail helmet reimagined. It offers everything demanding riders in the field require: Mips Evolve Core technology, a two-position visor with one-handed operation, a FIDLOCK magnetic buckle, storage for glasses front and rear with seamless integration with MX goggles, enlarged vents, and deep internal channels for maximum ventilation. The helmet meets CPSC / CE safety standards for cycling helmets and, as the first open-face MTB helmet in the Montaro line, also has NTA e-bike certification. Focus on the trail – the Montaro Mips III will take care of the rest.

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides increased protection against rotational forces in the head area.

Technology

• ROC LOC® AIR A revolutionary clamping system that improves both fit and ventilation of the helmet. The clamping system creates a small space between the head and the helmet itself where cool air flows. The setting options are the same as for the Roc Loc® 5 system.

• IN-MOLD® Designation of a technological process in which EPS polystyrene foam is pressure-injected into the shell and reinforcements enclosed in the mould. Their connection reinforces the area of the vents and ribs. The result is a compact, uniform, lightweight, safe and very durable helmet.

• The SUPER FIT™ System is made up of up to four helmet sizes designed to cover a range of different head sizes for all users. Thanks to this system, the helmets of the higher categories are ideally prepared for every rider.

• WIND TUNNEL™ Specially designed ventilation tunnels on the inside of the helmet that bring cool air in through the front, channel it over the head and exhaust warm air out through the rear vents.

• MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) is a slippery insert between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact (for example, if you catch your head on a branch), the helmet's EPS shell will roll a few millimeters over the MIPS layer, protecting your head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
