Lighter, faster, more ventilated. The Aries Spherical is the most advanced helmet Giro has ever produced. The profile was reduced to a minimum to best follow the silhouettes of the head. This, together with the low weight and maximum ventilation through the 24 Wind Tunnel holes, gives incredible riding comfort. But the main thing is inside - Spherical Technology Powered by MIPS. This technology is based on the principle of the joint. The shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) inserted into each other and connected by yellow elastomers. The whole system creates a kind of suspension that absorbs the forces in the event of an impact - the hemispheres can move relative to each other and the elastomers absorb the energy. In addition, the outer shell is made of harder material, the inner shell is made of softer material (Progressive Layering technology). In addition, a special Aura Reinforcement Arch runs through the entire helmet. The fit on the head is ensured by the patented Roc Loc 5+ Air clamping system together with the Ionic+ antimicrobial lining.

Technology

• ROC LOC® AIR A revolutionary clamping system that improves both fit and ventilation of the helmet. The clamping system creates a small space between the head and the helmet itself where cool air flows. The setting options are the same as for the Roc Loc® 5 system.

• IN-MOLD® Designation of a technological process in which EPS polystyrene foam is pressure-injected into the shell and reinforcements enclosed in the mould. Their connection reinforces the area of the vents and ribs. The result is a compact, uniform, lightweight, safe and very durable helmet.

• MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) is a slippery insert between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact (for example, if you catch your head on a branch), the helmet's EPS shell will roll a few millimeters over the MIPS layer, protecting your head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.

• The SUPER FIT™ System is made up of up to four helmet sizes designed to cover a range of different head sizes for all users. Thanks to this system, the helmets of the higher categories are ideally prepared for every rider.
