Cannondale Scalpel 3 x DREAMBIKELAB
Custom build under the DREAMBIKELAB banner at Ski and Bike Centrum Radotín, this time on the Cannondale Scalpel 3.

BASIC MODEL
This conversion was done on the Scalpel 3. The Scalpel is a fast XC all-suspension bike with aggressive geometry that can be turned into a top-level racing machine. The 100/100 travel, specifically on this model, are lent by the FOX Float DPS Performance Elite EVOL shock and the rize-specific Lefty Ocho fork direct from CANNONDALE. The Flex Pivot on the rear chainstays also contributes to the suspension. The bike is powered by a set of SHIMANO XT/SLX in combination with HollowGram cranks (CANNONDALE). The SHIMANO M6000 brakes with 160/160 discs stop you from going downhill. The rest of the equipment is the brand's own, except for the STAN'S NO TUBES rims.
CONVERSION
The rebuilding of this bike was done from the ground up. The goal was to reduce weight, get it a little carbon and give it a new look. So it started with the kit. Trust fell on the overseas and SRAM AXS XX1 electric derailleur. The cassette and derailleur fell to lightweight component manufacturer GARBARUK. We kept the original cranks, because they are not bad at all. For the cockpit and seatpost we went with ENVE, as is the case with the top model HI-MOD. Carbon seatpost, handlebars and stem. Apart from the SHIMANO XT brakes, we've finished the whole thing off with a beautiful set of WTB CZR i30 carbon rims and DT SWISS 240 hubs. We kept the red colour to liven things up, for example with the PEATY'S valves.

About the DREAMBIKELAB project
DREAMBIKELAB is an inhouse project of Ski a Bike Centrum Radotín in Vindyš's factory. We focus on fine-tuning and customization of bikes. Through stylish component accessories we create builds that turn a factory model into a distinctive piece. We choose from a wide range of long-established big brands, as well as boutique brands and hi-tech workshops that are growing in Europe and overseas.
The driving force behind the whole project and our partner is our laughing boy from the SBCR team, Standa Bříza, an avid biker and now dad. When he's not building bikes at SBCR's Vindyš's factory, he's riding hills or enjoying his time off at bike parks and events. Tuning a bike to beauty and functionality is his domain and job here at the shop. He will guide you through the entire process from initial consultation, selection, to handing over your new bike into your hands.
