The 3QTR-AIR MIPS model builds on the design elements and technologies of the FULL-AIR MIPS helmet, but without the chin guard. This makes it even better suited for maintaining comfort while pedaling uphill.

Thanks to the Fidlock® magnetic buckle, Dual Flow Ventilation™ system, and lightweight construction, this helmet offers the feel of an open half-shell helmet while providing more secure coverage in the upper neck and jaw area. This added protection, combined with proven Mips® technology, emphasizes safety for riders who don't want to wear a full-face helmet.

The quick-release action camera mount located under the visor offers an ideal angle for recording rides, and the removable, washable anti-microbial padding makes it easy to stay fresh even with frequent riding.

MIPS - Multi-Directional Impact Protection System

MIPS is a slip liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, the result is that MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
