The Trek E-Caliber 9.6 used electric mountain bike is based on the Supercaliber racing XC model. This e-bike is equipped with the compact and powerful Fazua Ride Trail drivetrain along with a 250Wh battery. Suspension is provided by Trek's unique semi-integrated IsoStrut shock and Rock Shox 35 Gold fork.
OCLV carbon mountain bike frame with 60mm travel, 120mm RockShox Gold RL fork and Trek's IsoStrut FOX Performance shock. The Fazua Ride Trail 50's propulsion system offers pedaling support up to 25 km/h and no resistance is felt when it is switched off. It also has a 12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, a telescopic seatpost to lower the saddle when descending, and Bontrager Kovee Comp 23 wheels.
This bike is ideal for XC riders who want to go longer distances or climb steeper hills. It's also great for those who need a little help to tackle climbs or keep up with faster groups.
Main advantages and parameters:
- The engine offers a helping hand on climbs and long rides. However, the pedaling support is more natural and provides an overall experience that is closer to a regular bike versus a typical e-MTB.
- The drive system, including the motor, is easily removed from the bike. Simply remove it, replace it with the appropriate cover and you have a standard mountain bike that is 2.9 kg lighter.
- IsoStrut provides ample rear suspension for XC traction and comfort with less weight and more efficiency.
